The World Bank describes SME finance as an ecosystem that depends on policy, institutions, digital infrastructure, and lender capability. Inside Higher Ed reports a tuition-freeze promise and a separate report on partial funding repair for historically Black colleges and universities. AACSB’s current standards-and-impact material asks business education to make societal value visible. These examples differ. Each shows why an announced outcome is not the same as a delivered outcome.
Farnam Street’s Ability to Adapt supplies the connecting practice. When conditions change, revise the routine instead of defending it by habit. The sources do not prove that any policy will be implemented, that funding gaps are fully repaired, that standards cause societal impact, or that adaptation advice guarantees better decisions.
